Code of Ethics
Introduction
The Well Trust is committed to ensuring that all Trustees, friends of The Well Trust and members within The Well Trust network are operating in line with the ethos of integrity and unity, supporting their local community as well as the wider Well Trust community.
The Code of Ethics sets out the expectations for all Trustees, friends of The Well Trust and members of The Well Trust and can form the basis for discussion in the event of a complaint against you as a Trustee, friend of The Well Trust and member of The Well Trust.

1. Treat everyone with respect
Treat others how you wish to be treated; aggressive and controlling behaviour will not be tolerated.
Everyone has the right to be heard in a safe, loving space.
2. Act in the best interest of your Users and Providers
Always act in the best interest of your Users and Providers; their safety, comfort, confidentiality
and welfare must be a priority.
3. Work collaboratively and communicate effectively
We encourage collaboration with like-minded people and organisations within your community and
the wider healthcare community to support the healthcare needs of The People.
4. Take responsibility for your own actions
Take responsibility for your actions and behaviour and how you respond to people and situations.
5. Acknowledge we are all equals regardless of role
Everyone has a part to play, no matter how big or small. Alone, we have limited resources; together
we can create a better world.
6. Always remain lawful
Do not harm the natural rights (life, liberty, property) of another.
7. Empower people to take responsibility for their own health
Empowering people through education and knowledge sharing is a huge part of The Well Trust ethos.
8. Commit to self-improvement and learning new things
Recognise that life is about growth and striving to be the best version of yourself every day.
9. Always do your best for yourself and others
Respect your personal boundaries and needs whilst always remaining in service to others.
10. Embrace an integrated approach based on a totally holistic approach using natural remedies and healing
Acknowledge that being truly holistic is to embrace and work with a range of natural healthcare approaches that takes into account the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual aspects of every man, woman, boy and girl to enable them to grow and flourish within themselves and their community.
In medicine and in life, Truth can heal, and lies, errors, and inaccuracies, can harm.
The Well Trust is a totally alternative, holistic Health & Wellbeing centre with focus on natural healing from the power of within & Mother Nature. Our ethics are that we do not use or promote pharmaceutical drugs but if you require this support we will try and signpost you to a provider that can accommodate you.We can offer you a consultation where we can help you (through education & support) have a better understanding of how natural remedies work and how you can make simple lifestyle changes to lessen/get clear of your dependency on 'man-made drugs' and maintain good health.
